THE SHARIAH ADVISORY COMMITTEE (SAC)
The SAC is established under the Shariah Governance Framework, with the core mandate being:

To ascertain the application of Shariah principles on any matter relating to Shariah.

To advise the Board on any Shariah-related matters and the application of Shariah principles related to the Fund.

Vetting of proposed investments and agreements in line with Shariah Principles.

Reporting to the Board on Shariah Investments.

Review and approval of Shariah Compliance Manuals and relevant documentation.​
The SAC guides on Investments of the Fund and the same is thereafter approved by the Trustees of the County Pension Fund.
